This defibrillator was purchased for the village thanks to the Avon Inn and the former Avonwick Shop, who launched the project and raised all the money required in an amazingly short time.

North Huish Parish Council provided money towards the cabinet and now check the defibrillator and provide spare parts as and when required.

This defibrillator has already been used to resuscitate a casualty.
